ACP New Years 100K / 200K

November 1 is the start of the ACP brevet calendar. Remember: Your longest ride in 2026 determines when you can register for PBP 2027.

What: RUSA populaire or brevet.
See the sights of NYC!
For the 200K: Starting at Principles GI Coffee House, head over the Manhattan Bridge, through the full length of Manhattan via Central Park. Then hop onto the Empire State trail, escaping along trailways to Briarcliff Manor, then north over the Croton Dam to Peekskill. A lovely dirt climb over Old Albany Post to Bear Mountain Bridge, and back south on the Jersey side of the Hudson, over the George Washington Bridge, finally taking the most used bike route in the country, the Hudson River Greenway, to the Brooklyn Bridge. Then back into Brooklyn for a quick lap of Prospect Park!
The 100K is an out and back route from Principles GI Coffee House via Prospect Park, Brooklyn, to Piermont, NY.
These don't count towards ACP-specific awards or qualifiers.
When: Saturday, November 1, 2025
Start: 7:30am from Principles GI Cafe, 139 9th St, Brooklyn

Time Limit: 6.75 hrs (100K) and 13.5 hrs (200K)
Fee: $10

NOTE: Brevets are a long-distance cycling event for riders with experience riding on public roads. These events are NOT races! As organizers our goal is to provide you with a reasonably suitable route, some support, and information before and during the event to help you have a safe and successful day. However, the rides take place on public roads that are open to all traffic; therefore, we cannot eliminate all hazards or risks.

Your responsibility is to show up in appropriate physical condition for completing the event with a bicycle in good working condition, comply with all traffic laws, comply with the requirements of RUSA and NJ Randonneurs, including rules governing lighting and reflective clothing, respect the rights of all other users of the route, and plan for the possibility of you not being able to finish the ride. Although we cannot eliminate the risks, you can click on the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BELOW for some recommendations on reducing them.
