Cranbury Pop Dart 120K
RUSA Dart
When: Saturday, August 2, 2025
Finish: Village Park, 38 Maplewood Ave., Cranbury
Description: The Dart Populaire is a team event of 8 hours duration and 120km minimum distance. whereby teams of cyclists all ride to a common destination from various starting points.
Last date for captains to sign up and submit a route for review: Friday, July 18th, 2025. Last date for team riders to sign up: Friday, July 25th.
The event will be on Saturday, August 2rd, and riding should be done starting at 07:00 and finishing 15:00 at Village Park in Cranbury, New Jersey. At the finish in the park’s pavillion (with a roof overhead if it rains) will be a picnic/cookout for all the riders to celebrate and swap ride stories.
For the route created by the captains, the last route submission accepted will be July 19th — two weeks before the pop dart date. It would be easiest if you can create your route via ridewithgps, but we can work with other forms of mapping that can generate a gpx route that then could be imported into ridewithgps.
If the controls are not marked in your gpx or ridewithgps route, you will need to submit for review the exact address or gps location of all your controls.
It is required that your route start at least one mile away from the finish, which is Village Park in Cranbury. If your riders are driving, you can park the car at Village Park, and then ride to your start location that is at least one mile away.
For more information on dart rules for the route, see the official rules here

NOTE: Brevets are a long-distance cycling event for riders with experience riding on public roads. These events are NOT races! As organizers our goal is to provide you with a reasonably suitable route, some support, and information before and during the event to help you have a safe and successful day. However, the rides take place on public roads that are open to all traffic; therefore, we cannot eliminate all hazards or risks.
Your responsibility is to show up in appropriate physical condition for completing the event with a bicycle in good working condition, comply with all traffic laws, comply with the requirements of RUSA and NJ Randonneurs, including rules governing lighting and reflective clothing, respect the rights of all other users of the route, and plan for the possibility of you not being able to finish the ride.
During any event involving open roads, accidents, collisions and incidents can occur that may result in serious injuries and even death. Although we cannot eliminate the risks, you can click on the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BELOW for some recommendations on reducing them.
